Members of the Lake McIntyre Management Board, together with members of the Millicent Field Naturalist Society, undertake a bird count each month at the
lake. These counts give us a good record of the number and species of birds at the lake.
The last count was on 16th January with the water level very low.

Also spotted were 2 Eastern Long-necked Turtles and a 30cm long Lowland Copperhead snake.
